We are seeking to recruit a lecturer in English as a Foreign Language (Part-time 50%, long-term temporary position). The selected candidate will work at the Centre for Modern Languages (Centre d’Idiomes Moderns, or CIM), part of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) in Barcelona. You will be part of a dynamic and flexible environment where you can develop your career while working to objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that course plans, subject resources and teaching materials are optimal for achieving learning outcomes.
- Coordinating the students' learning process.
- Selecting and coordinating a group of affiliated teaching staff.
- Promoting innovation, particularly in the methods and techniques used in distance learning.
A permanent employment contract will be offered, with a duration until 2030 on a part-time basis, linked to the funding received through the ICREA Academy programme, and with the expected start date following the completion of the selection process.
